Announcement: I believe I'm turning into a responsible adult.
The proof? I finally took the dress I wore to SB and the Big C's wedding to the dry cleaner. Why does that make me a responsible adult, you ask? Their wedding was over two years ago. The dry cleaner is literally one block from my house. Yet somehow that sweaty, smelly dress managed to sit in the exact same spot by my front door just waiting to go to the dry cleaner. For two entire years. What can I say? I was a lazy disaster. But now folks, now I'm a responsible adult who frequents the dry cleaner.
And that's not all. Yesterday I took five items of clothing to the tailor. The tailor! Cause, in case you hadn't heard, I'm skinnier than I used to be. Blamo! And so many of my clothes are too big for me. I did a closet purge on the weekend: I got rid of a lot of stuff. But there were four dresses and one shirt I decided were worth keeping and getting altered to fit again. So responsible of me.
Except turns out tailoring is expensive! It cost me $200 to get five things fixed! That is more money than it cost me to actually buy the clothes in the first place. Blerg. Who knew responsibility was so expensive?
Except when it's free! In final closet news, I got a free pair of boots from work yesterday! They're just from Old Navy, so don't get too excited. But they were free and they're cute and I think responsible adults would like 'em.

So get ready folks, for the whole new responsible me! You're not gonna know what hit'cha.
Love,
Liza
